I guess before November exits, I must deem it the month which I sew
the most tissue holders:) Both young & old love my handmade pouches
and the tissue holders are also ideal for Christmas gifts:) Just buy
a few pieces and distribute them to your relatives or friends instead of
buying chocolates which are always left uneaten in the fridge!
A basket full of my handmade pouches which I brought to Teck Ghee
market today and managed to sell all except one which was stained
by my fabric pen:) I wonder if I sell them too cheap since most customers
would buy one or two without hesitation:) Anyhow, I am glad they like
my products and am grateful for their support!
Every piece is my labor of love and carefully sewn and hope they
land in good hands:)
The materials I used are good quality 100% cotton, made in Japan
and the pouches can be washed and reused again:) It is important
to have your tissues handy and also kept clean in the pouches to
prevent them getting messy and dirty in your bag:)
My girl requested for this piece which I called "marching on" n
it contains two packets of tissue:) Hope she brings to school
everyday!
Slicing strawberries for my girl who decides to make some jelly
cheese tarts for desserts:)
I am good at sewing but not cutting strawberries:) They ended up
with funny heart shapes and my girl commented some look rather
ugly. Anyway, the end result is not too bad, the tarts tasted well;
quite delicious, not too sweet and a little sour. I shall not learn
how to make these from her cos I am not into baking etc Rather
spend more time on my sewing machine:)
Thanks for visiting my blog and hope to see some of you again during
my road shows all over Singapore!
