It has been a long time, almost two months since I update my blog and I have
been busy doing bazaars and now I shall share some interesting photos,
starting with food:) There are really lots of cheap n delicious food sold
in hawker centers in Singapore! Above dish is dried mee pok with prawns
and fried fish, sold in Ang Mo Kio Blk 388!
Mee Siam (malay dish), is little bit sweet n spicy! Love
this dish since I was young! Sold at Ang Mo Kio hawker center,
Blk 449, sorry for those of you far far away in another country:)
Do visit Singapore for its beautiful scenery n international food!
Fried carrot cakes, you can have it either sweet in black sauce
or salty in white, all fried with eggs. Found this while doing my
bazaar in West Coast market:) The queue is very long for this
stall cos many customers:)
This dish is known as 'Lor mee' and it comes with a very
sticky starchy sauce. The noodle goes very well with the
fried fish and some slice lean pork. Found in AMK as well.
Tried cooking red bean soup for my girl who wants some
iron booster! The preparation is rather long, soaked the beans
for few hours n boil for another few hours:( I use rock sugar
to add some sweetness and the end result is good:) Will only
do it again when I am really free:)
Dried wanton mee from Ang Mo Kio again:) These are all hawker food
which cost a few dollars ranging from $3 to $4:) My girl who is in Perth
misses some of her favourites like 'lor mee' & wanton mee above:) Whether
the noodle is delicious or not depend on the seasoning n also if the noodles
is springy or 'Q Q'!
