September & October went by so fast as I was busy with my events
and fairs:) I did both indoors as well as outdoors bazaars!
This is a fleamarket scene whereby we can also sell some second
items to clear the clutter from home:) However, we are under no
shade and we have to pack n go if the sky turns cloudy and sign of
rain is coming as per photo below:(
On the way home after a fleamarket at West Coast and it started to
rain cats anddogs! We are lucky to avoid getting drenched cos the
rain in Singapore can be really erratic, one moment sunny and the
next moment, thunderstorm at full force:(
Some tissue pouches I made with the little time I have at
home:) I love to sew but there is just so much to do and time
really not enough and now Nov is in and I have much to plan
n prepare for the festive season....Christmas n CNY will be
here again soooooon:)
The above are done in October, a hurried job and the piece on
the left is already spoilt cos all the measurements are wrong &
the clasp cannot fit into the purse:( The little coin purse on the right
is OK but still has many flaws. If only I have more time to sew &
quilt properly, I would have done a better job....will try again:)
This pouch turns out not too bad cos I really follow all the instructions
as indicated on the DIY kit:) I asked my girl to hold it while I take
a picture and hope someday, it will find a owner:)
These are also DIY kits and easy to sew except I hate
to sew the magnetic clasps. I use them to store my
handphone charger and tissue etc
I like this yellow fabric prints and I bought two fat quarters when
I saw it at a craft shop in Bangkok:)
Scape Bazaar during last October....before I knew
it, Halloween is over and the crowd in Scape Mall
is not worth mentioning. Since renovation, the customers
have disappeared cos inside the Mall, there are nothing much
to shop and all the interesting shops have moved out:(
This is the pouch I made and snug and fitting for my hp charger.
It has enough cushion to protect n keep it safe, heehee!
Some of the items I made are sold at the bazaars while some
customers prefer to learn making them from me if I have time to give
lessons:) I hope to teach one fine day:)
Since I have much to do, I have forgo one of my best leisure, reading books!
I used to read a lot last time but now time is not on my side. I have a pile of
good books lying around waiting for me to clear! Busy doing bazaars has
robbed me of alot of my personal time. But I really enjoy selling and mingle
with the crowds and meeting new people everyday!
