Chinese New Year at Heartland Mall

Indeed, the heartland is full of activities during the lunar festive season.

There is a big pasar malam outside the shopping center selling apparels,

new year decorations, cushions n curtains covers and many items seen only

during the CNY festive season.... red n orange are the significant colours which

signify good luck, prosperity n all the good omens:)

How can I MISS the chance of being in the midst of these happenings! Yesterday

I moved out of Heartland Mall and an impromptu decision was made;) I am going

back on the 12th to 21st of January to be among the Heartlanders who are out

full force to make purchases for the lunar celebration! The fun of it all, the whole

shopping center is filled with Chinese New Year songs and everyone is looking

forward to yet another long weekend holidays, so soon after the Christmas holidays;)

Chinese New Year would be a great time to visit relatives and friends and lots of 

stories to be exchanged amid all the food and laughters.  Children would be looking

forward to the ang pows and gatherings as well dressed in their best!

I am thankful many regulars and new customers are flocking to my booth for the

past few days looking for earrings and accessories to match their new outfits:)

I would be designing new ear rings in red n bright colors to suit the occasion!
